Families Helping Families is kicking off our Fall/Winter Fund Drive to raise money to make a difference in your community.
AHS Students’ Backpacks and Supplies Wishlist
Support students at Albemarle High School by exploring and contributing to our backpacks and supplies wishlist. Your donations will directly benefit students by providing them with essential items for their education journey.
Haircuts for Students
Make a difference in students’ lives by participating in our efforts to provide haircuts for students. Your contribution will help students feel confident and cared for, positively impacting their self-esteem and overall well-being.
Hygiene Products Drive
Join the EmpowerHER initiative led by AHS students, aimed at collecting hygiene products for fellow students. Your support will help ensure that all students have access to essential hygiene items, fostering a sense of dignity and well-being.

Become a School Representative
Are you a dedicated parent or community member with a heart for helping families? Families Helping Families is seeking school representatives for each ACPS school. This remote role, which can be shared by two people, can have a significant impact. As an FHF school representative, you will:
- Share FHF communications with the school PTO/community to ensure families in need are aware of available resources.
- Foster connections between school counselors/family support workers and the PTO/community regarding family needs.
- Collaborate with FHF leadership to support fundraising and advocacy efforts by sharing your school families’ needs.
